What is Glovebox laser welding

The glove box laser hermetic sealing welding system performs laser welding in a water free and oxygen free (water oxygen content less than 1ppm) inert gas protection environment. From inert gas drying, vacuum baking to final sealing, the components are always in a controlled environment chamber. This provides great protection for the sealing of sensitive electronic components, as well as expensive components such as micro microwaves and human medical implants. At the same time, it is very suitable for welding materials that are highly prone to oxidation. Compared to epoxy resin, welding, or mechanical seals, it provides extremely durable airtight sealing.

  • Widely used materials

Stainless steel, aluminum alloy, Kovar, special alloy materials, titanium, zirconium, molybdenum, niobium, etc

  • Highly integrated:

UT requirements for strong and weak electrical circuits, cooling water, gas pipelines, etc.

  • Ultra low leakage

    High sealing performance (< 1 × 10-5Vol/h) guaranteed

Functional principle of glove box

The working gas inside the glove box is circulated in a closed manner through pipelines, circulating fans, etc. between the box body and the purification column (water oxygen adsorber) under the control and monitoring of PLC. When the working gas circulates through the purification column, its water and oxygen content are adsorbed and then returned to the box. As the circulation time passes, the water and oxygen content in the working gas in the box gradually decreases, eventually reaching the target of less than 1ppm. After a certain period of circulation, the purification column will become saturated with adsorption and can be regenerated and reused.

When the temperature is low, T1, the molecular sieve water saturation C1 is high, which can absorb a large amount of water.
When the temperature is high, T2, the water saturation amount C1 of the molecular sieve is low, and the adsorbed water will be released first and evaporated. Regeneration of molecular sieves is achieved by heating and vacuuming.
